Contact usOn rust and robots
Client: BASF
At regular times, BASF Antwerp organizes a TOFS meeting: a ‘Time Out For Safety’ to instruct the employees on one specific safety aspect. Within this framework, BASF’s Quality Service wanted to inform the staff on the potential dangers of corrosion under insulation. Instead of bombarding the personnel with another round of tedious PowerPoint slides, our client opted for a fun, appealing and above all instructive animation. The main character is ‘R.O.E.S.N.I.E.’ (meaning something like ‘No Rust’), a female robot who, being herself made out of steel and insulation, guides the spectators through the dangers of corrosion under insulation. Combining to-the-point information with fun visuals prolongs the viewers’ concentration span and notably increases their content retention. How talking about rust is not necessarily a rusty affair.
